Against a world-wide
background of serious failures in procurement arrangements and "Corporate"
indifference to the protection of human, social, cultural and natural
environments a wide diversity of Management System Specifications and
other Management capability assessment criteria have been developed
to help organisations identify, address and resolve potential problem
areas.
Compliance with these System-orientated "Standards" is entirely voluntary
and businesses that have been independently assessed against them are
entitled to display Standard-dedicated "Quality Assurance" symbols.
As many of these "Standards" deal with the unavoidably complex design,
manufacture, performance, delivery and maintenance elements of "products"
this Initiative has created a highly simplified MODEL "Standard" (SGS/24)
which you can view and print out via the SGS/24 hyperlink located below.
For the avoidance of doubt, The SPRINGS International Regulatory Authority
(SIRA) referred to in SGS/24 is a fictional organization and is used
merely for illustrative purposes.
